New Stealth Suit

Time of typing is 11:57 PM so it's still friday haha :)

For this friday i have given a Tau Stealth Suit some additional armor and weapon;
I've glued 2 firewarrior shoulderpads on both his shoulders and glued a rocket pad from the Crisis Suit on his backpack, basecoated him this afternoon.
Not much to say just check the pictures!
And i've been doing all sorts of things lately except painting, i think next week i'll paint a tau or 2 =D

A request from a friend

Hey bloggers and readers!
This post will be about a special request from a good friend of mine,
He likes to play WH40k and paint his models but doesn't like to do the bases or doesn't know what to make of em.
We'll he plays Tyranids to be exact and we'll he got this carnifex of his but he left the base black, He wanted to make the base good but didn't know what to make of it so he borrowed his carnifex to me and i took it off its base and thought of a really cool idea...because we all know the carnifex is one of the most ferocious and feared creatures in the whole galaxy! so the base must look like he teared some guys up!
so i elevated a piece of it by glueing the base part of a flying base on it, put 2 SM helmets on it and a splitted tau helmet and a eldar helmet on it.
and i just basecoated it so soon i'll paint it for him and put the carnifex back on it.
until then the carnifex remains waiting on a old WHFB base :P.

Space Wolves Time!

It's 2:14 Am tuesday at the time of writing this post so before i go to bed i still want to show you this!
As i promised i finished assembling the five Space Wolves today and they look so badass!
Tough choice on how to pose them and what weapons to give 'em etc etc.
We'll not much to say, You know where to find the pictures! below!
Awesome ain't they! can't wait to paint these guys but i first need to buy a can of basecoat spray paint.

Been a long week.

Hi blog readers!

Yeah friday there wasn't a post and the whole week wasn't one and today i suppose to be home late but that turned out differently.
BUT..i'm gonna make it all up to you by posting extra posts coming week.
Nevertheless there wasn't a post (except from this one) about WH40K doesn't mean i didn't do anything about it. i painted some tau and i bought half a box(hunh half?) of space wolves:




 
As i already told i play & collect Tau but i like other races as wel,
like chaos and tyranids and space marines,
i've always felt appealed bij space wolves, i think because my favorite animal is a wolf and these guys honour the wolves, very cool and that's what i thought too! so i know someone who is building his 7,000 points space wolves army and he had half a box of these badasses left, so i bought them from him and i just assembled one and tomorrow i'll assemble the rest of em,
Tough choice on the weapons and the heads and stuff because you get allot of extra parts with the box...

Conversion friday!

Dear readers, from now on, every friday will be conversion friday!

That means i'll only post projects of myself that are a conversion(custom made)

This week i have 1 conversion to post:

Chaos Space Marine Brute Sorcerer:

 I made him from a Space Marine Vanguard Veteran equipped with a power sword and a plasma pistol,

1. First off i cut off his right hand(holding the plasma pistol)

2. then i broke of his jump backpack

3. and then i glued the Chaos staff on the part where i cut off the hand(and placed a part of plastic to hold it in place)

4. then i broke off the arm with the power sword.

5. glued on the powerclaw arm of a classic chaos space marine terminator.
6. glued on a backpack w/ spikes & skulls of a Chaos Space Marine.
7. glued the whole model on a custom display base.

New week, new day, new post!

Monday, a new start of a new week!
Got some business at the bank and some other stuff to take care of today and i think i'll paint a bit of my tau,
yesterday i bought a box of  'Tau XV25 Stealth Team' which contains 3 XV25 Tau Stealth Suits and a markerlight drone,Here's the official box art of GW:

Allready had one of those squads but i lost an arm of one of the stealth suits so i knew i wanted another squad because 5 is allways better than 2!^^

As you can see here is one of my stealth suits,this one is one of the first models i painted in....2007 i guess.

I was horrible at painting at that time,glad im much better these days :D

I also started with my first home-made piece of scenery:

I started with a piece of strong cardboard and took the the cardboard out of my cellphone box and turned it upside-down so it looked a bit like a house/bunker and made some cuts here and there, a door-a hatch on the roof for stealth suits to deploy out of and a small hole at the front for drones

it's still in progress,i have to buy a bag of static grass and paint the stones/rock's so i'll give an update on that once i've made some progress.

My Warhammer 40k blog is a fact!

Hi readers,
Some of you might know me from my 'My Gunpla' blog and some of you are first time readers here!
Well 2 weeks ago i said on my Gunpla blog that the blog would be about gunpla AND my WH40K hobby.
And i changed my mind about it and made a full 40K Blog right here! so welcome!

The blog is very basic now and kinda empty but i'm going to post some cool stuff about my Hobby and a small introduction you can read on my gunpla blog buy hay i'll quote it for ya: 'i play the Tau Empire,that i really like they are a very young alien race but have evolved the most fastest of all the races as they are very hi-tech if you compare them to the other races.'

Well about my current tau army it's just a starter and by the time you'll see my whole army but just to show some pics,because we all know the story isn't true without the picture so here is my first Tau Hammerhead

Just started painting him,did some details on the front and am currently busy with some other stuff too but my hammerhead has priority, one of the grandest tanks of 40k!

Ohyeah my army colors are:

  Necron abbys(tank colours battlesuit colors and fire warrior cloth colors)
• 
  
  Codex grey for smaller pieces on armor on tanks and piranha's and armor pieces and helm's of fire warriors
• 
  
  Ice Blue & Blood Red and Scorpion Green for lenses and barrels
• 
  
  Tin Bitz for some details and other stuff(use some mithril silver for the same purpose too)

and the drones in it are as an example of how they should be the drones of the Piranha so not the actual drones

Also i've got a good basic army but a full list of it i'll put on later.
